World renowned as the home of Shakespeare, the market town of Stratford-upon-Avon dates back to medieval times and has much to offer visitors, from historic buildings such as Shakespeare's birthplace and Anne Hathaway's Cottage, to the theatre and a fine selection of pubs and restaurants. Hidcote Gardens, Chipping Campden and Warwick Castle are all within easy reach - an ideal location for a relaxing break at any time of the year!

A beautifully renovated, single storey barn conversion, situated in the grounds of the owner's sheep and arable farm in a rural hamlet on the outskirts of Clifford Chambers, 3 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. Ideally situated within easy reach of the local shop and pub, The Roost features open-plan living with stone tiled floors, exposed beams and a wonderful outlook onto the large garden, which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the far reaching country views. The tiny, chocolate-box village of Clifford Chambers boasts a welcoming pub serving delicious, home-cooked food, whilst world renowned Stratford-upon-Avon with its striking Tudor buildings, Royal Shakespeare Theatre and abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants is just 3 miles away. With a host of National Trust properties, the colourful gardens at Royal Leamington Spa and the majestic Warwick Castle all within easy reach, this is an excellent base from which to discover the Cotswolds. Despite staying at the property during what must have been the coldest Easter for years the cottage was warm and cosy. The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable and a good place for relaxing. We hope to return on a future occasion.
